What is Go4IT?
The Go4IT project provides “conformance to standards” test tools and services. This project is co-financed by the European Commission under the FP6.
Go4IT test environment is based on the TTCN-3 language. This standardised language simplifies the process of translating an existing standard into ‘Test Cases’ which put together are referenced as test-suites. Using a TTCN test environment allows to validate hardware or applications against a given standard. A user management interface together with logging capabilities allow to fine tune the tests to be run and exploit the results to solve the issue in case a test would fail.

Know more about TTCN-3 testing…

Two packages are being processed:
TTCN-3 made simple: download the tool, launch the installer and run your tests.
The available tests cover:
  • IPv6 core protocol
  • Mobile IPv6
  • IPsec
And soon available:
  • Transition mechanisms
  • DHCPv6
  • Ripng
Developing a complete TTCN-3 environment is a huge task and no such environment exists today. Go4IT initiate the move by drafting specification and starting the development.
From that point any contribution or idea is welcome.

IMPORTANT: Installation of required libraries (2008/4/10)

All GIPETS user guides (1.0, 1.5 and 2.0) have been updated.

The main change is the improvement of the installation guide, where the process to install two required libraries (JpCap, Libnet) is explained in detail.
